Michael Gallegos, CHA is President and CEO of Pacific Pearl Hotels, LLC (PPH). Based in San Diego, California, PPH has acquired over $3.5 billion of hotels and resorts throughout the U.S., Spain, and Mexico since its inception. PPH currently owns and operates 23 lodging properties encompassing over 6,500 rooms and employs over 3,200 personnel throughout the United States. In addition to a successful network of independent hotels, boutique properties and resorts, PPH’s brand affiliations have included Hyatt, Le Meridien, Marriott, Hilton, Crowne Plaza, DoubleTree by Hilton, Wyndham, Hilton Garden Inn, Radisson, Sheraton, Hampton Inn, Element, Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott, Wyndham Garden, Four Points by Sheraton, La Quinta, Park Plaza, Park Inn & Suites by Radisson, Country Inn & Suites, Staybridge Suites, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, and Best Western.

Michael Gallegos earned his Bachelors Degree from the University of New Mexico. While at UNM, he was elected Student Body President in 1982-83. He was also elected president of the American Student Association in Washington, DC in 1983, representing six million students nationwide. Mr. Gallegos began his career in hotels as a parking lot attendant at the age of eleven. Today, he also maintains a professional certification as a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA). In 2004, Michael Gallegos was named the prestigious National Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young. Mr. Gallegos has served on the Wells Fargo Santa Fe, New Mexico Board of Advisors and the University of San Diego School of Business Board of Advisors.
